Will there be an Entry Fee for the Talent Show?
There will be a $10.00 talent submission fee for each student participating and a $5.00 entry at the door for guests.
Both will serve as a fundraising contribution that directly supports the PTA’s mission to enhance the educational environment for all students and provide a memorable student participant award.
By charging this nominal fee, this allows the talent show to remain a quality event while simultaneously providing essential resources and support to our school.

The show will be in the cafeteria. You will enter through the front doors and head right into the cafeteria.
Event FAQs
Performance Logistics & Requirements
How long is each performance allowed to be?
Each performance is strictly limited to 2 minutes (120 seconds). We have a 1-minute transition between acts (30 seconds for the exiting performer, 30 seconds for the next performer to set up).
What types of performances are allowed?
Most performance types are accepted as long as they are family-friendly, adhere to the 2-minute time limit, and can be set up quickly and independently by the child on stage.
-
Examples from previous years: Original songs, lip syncing, short skits, magic shows, individual and group dances, piano and violin performances, and various demonstrations (sports tricks, etc.).
What is the PTA expected to provide on the night of the event?
The PTA will provide the essential technical setup:
-
Stage and Stage Lighting
-
One Microphone
-
One Music Stand
-
Acoustic Piano
-
We will play any provided music track (see below).
What are parents expected to provide?
Parents are responsible for providing all materials necessary for the performance:
-
Music/Audio: Must be uploaded through the registration form.
-
Pre-Cut Music: All audio tracks must be pre-cut to 120 seconds or less. The PTA will not edit or cut any music.
-
Any necessary costumes or handheld props.
Never cut music before? Please review the FAQ for downloading end editing music below:
Acceptance and Scheduling Timeline
When do I need to pay the student’s talent submission fee?
You will only pay the submission fee after your act has been officially accepted into the final show. Our goal is to notify parents if their act has been accepted by Friday, October 31st. Once accepted, a PTA volunteer will reach out with the payment link.
When will we know which night my child is performing?
Our goal is to update parents by Friday, October 31st, with all final scheduling details, including:
-
Your student's performance date and time.
-
Their official performance number.
-
The required check-in time.
How will the shows be scheduled?
For the most part, we aim to schedule by grade level:
-
Night 1 (Wednesday, Nov 12): Pre-K through 2nd Grade.
-
Night 2 (Thursday, Nov 13): 3rd through 5th Grade.
I have multiple children in different grades performing—will they be on the same night?
Our primary goal is to match siblings together on the same performance night. However, due to the large number of students performing and the need to balance both shows, this is not a guarantee.
